Right now I'm just bumming off an account from a friend for the time being until I can get my own copy. I'm pretty sure I got suckered into a fake copy. While yes, there are workarounds to go back to Win8 what's to say I don't eventually get forced However, unless you use Version Cue (which few people seemingly do), the easy fix is simply to disable Version Cue in the Photoshop CS3 Preferences dialogue. Why in the world do I need to pay and upgrade something that was working perfectlyįine to begin with before you guys screwed it up? I don't have all kinds of money lying around to upgrade or buy a new program. If you want to use Version Cue to allow multiple workgroups to work on a file, I did find a somewhat complicated fix, which can be found here. Before CS3 I would have first tried the Magic Wand tool, then polished the selection in Quick Mask mode. Marcia had already done the basic adjustments to the image so I opened it in Photoshop and went to work selecting the shirt. I go toįorce close the program and it doesn't even say "Program not responding." So far I am still unable to use photoshop and it's telling me I need to pay to get the upgrade. If you use a Mac substitute Cmd for Ctrl and Option for Alt. it is a standalone complete suite for image editing. I guess what you could describe the problem as is that photoshop "hangs." I try to open a project and it just sits there flashing on the menu tabs. Photoshop CS3 is a full offline installer setup compatible with 32 and 64 bit.

I have been purposely ignoring it and after I saved a project in Photoshop Microsoft decided to restart my computer and install Win10 anyway.

I was recently FORCED into a Windows10 upgrade.
